    Love my OTB!

    Excellent addition to the home gym. She's a big unit, but good base weight, great knurling, built-in jack, versatile for all types of exercises, and long sleeves for plenty of plates. Shipping was fast, free, and well-packaged. Note, there is a specific 17mm wrench that is not included, and we had to run to the hardware to find one that would fit in the area that affixes the sleeves to the bar (it's a tight fit).

    Perfect - does everything it claims!

    The Open Trap Bar does everything it claimed in a unique and functional way. Allows for deadlifts (duh). squats, and "aided" benchpress when paired with a bench. The 2" frame all over makes for comfortable shoulder/trap carry, the 1" handles (I got the narrow grip) are heavily knurled for better grip. Check the dimensions of the handles (narrow, normal, wide grip) before ordering to ensure your body fits (I'm 6'2", 199# and my knees barely fit between the narrow grips). I would probably go with "Normal" grip if I ordered it again.

    Also, the bar sleeve spacer for sitting on a J-hook is a nice touch.

    Finally, the build-in deadlift jacks are genius. Hard rubber (plastic?) lines the jack to prevent tearing up matting or flooring.
