KANSAS CITY CHIEFS, DE #56
Some people call George Karlaftis the latest “Greek freak” in sports, a nod to his uncanny athletic abilities. The Greece-born 22-year-old grew up playing all kinds of sports but didn’t get into football until high school. He quickly earned a football scholarship to Purdue and went straight to a first-round NFL draft pick as a defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs. He was part of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVII team – and his football career is only just beginning.
